We are observing more than 100 percent yearly growth rate in different segments of our channel in recent times. Person-to-person transaction is free in Nagad, while it is chargeable in other carriers.
Merchant payment saw the highest growth rate while bill payments and transactions also boomed quite surprisingly in Covid-19 situation.
Combining all these segments we are experiencing that this kind of transaction has changed the whole payments trends of the country.
I would say that mobile money helped to run the economy in the early days of Covid-19 in Bangladesh.

The Covid-19 situation is strengthening the foundation of digital financial services all over the world and causing a huge paradigm shift.
Bangladesh is also in that highway of development where the enthusiastic people have confidently adopted digital services to enhance their lifestyle.
Unlike before, people are now much more comfortable in digital transactions for health, business and financial purposes, and hopefully, they will continue this practice even in the post-Covid-19 period.
During the Covid-19 period, the P2P transaction, merchant payment, and salary disbursement through bKash increased significantly.
