Gold prices up Tk 1,749 per bhori

The price of gold increased in the local markets to comply with the price climbing trend in the international market.
Considering the war, global economic conditions and currency exchange rates, the price was increased, and it will come into effect from Wednesday, according to a statement of Bangladesh Jewellers Association (BAJUS) on Tuesday.
The new price of the top-quality gold per bhori has been set at Tk 78,265, up by Tk 1,749. Earlier, the price was Tk 76,516.
The 21-carat gold per bhori will cost Tk 74,707, while the 18-carat gold per bhori will cost Tk 64,035, as per the statement.
