Mahbubur Rahman re-elected ICC Bangladesh president

Mahbubur Rahman, chairman and CEO of ETBL Holdings Limited, has been re-elected as president of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) – Bangladesh for two years until March 2024.
Rahman was a former president of FBCCI, DCCI and also served as vice president of SAARC Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Islamic Chamber of Commerce and Industry, said a press release on Tuesday.
ICC Bangladesh has also elected Rokia A Rahman, former MCCI president and chairman of Arlinks Limited, and AK Azad, managing director of Ha-Meem Group as vice presidents.
Other members of the 19-member ICC Bangladesh executive board are: Md Jashim Uddin, president of FBCCI and chairman of Bengal Commercial Bank; Rizwan Rahman, president of DCCI and managing director and CEO of ETBL Securities and Exchange; Mahbubul Alam, president of CCCI and vice-chairman of Bengal Commercial Bank; Naser Ezaz Bijoy, president of FICCI and chief executive officer of Standard Chartered Bank; Sheikh Kabir Hossain, president of BIA; Faruque Hassan, president of BGMEA; Mohammad Hatem, executive president of BKMEA; Mohammad Ali Khokon, president of BTMA; Abdul Hai Sarker, chairman and CEO of Shohagpur Textile Mills Limited; Anwar-Ul-Alam Chowdhury Parvez, managing director of Evince Group; Aftab ul Islam, chairman of IOE Bangladesh Limited; Kutubuddin Ahmed, chairman of Envoy Group; Mir Nasir Hossain, managing director of Mir Akhter Hossain Limited; Md Fazlul Hoque, managing director of Plummy Fashions Limited; Simeen Rahman, CEO of Transcom Group and director of Transcom Limited; and Tapan Chowdhury, chairman of Square Textiles Limited.
