Bangladesh Bank has extended the deferred payment period by more than one year for the eligible importers
Bangladesh Bank has extended the deferred payment period by more than one year for the eligible importers.
Importers registered with the Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA) or Department of Textiles will be able to receive such facility, said the BB in a circular on Tuesday.
An importer needs to apply to the BIDA for receiving the facility at least one month before the maturity of deferred imports, it said.
