Dhaka (Nov 23, 2020): Dhaka stocks open higher on Tuesday, reversing from previous session’s negative trend.
In first hour of the trade, the benchmark index DSEX gained 18 points or 0.3 percent to 4,840. The DSES Index was up 5 points or 0.5 percent to 1,113 and blue chip DS30 Index rose about 7 points or 0.4 percent to 1,677.
The volume of trade in value stood at Tk 223 crore, led by pharmaceuticals and insurers.
Of the issues traded, 35 declined, 207 advanced while the value of 81 stocks remained unchanged.
