Domestic flights would continue flying during the strict lockdown set to resume on Friday only to facilitate the movement of the international travelers of the country.
According to a circular of Civil Aviation Authority, Bangladesh (CAAB), domestic flights of Biman Bangladesh Airlines, US-Bangla Airlines and NovoAir may only carry the passengers who are ultimately scheduled to board an international flight, said a press release on Thursday.
The flights could continue maintaining health protocols strictly as per instructions.
Airlines were told to ensure that the domestic flight tickets are issued only to the passengers having international air tickets and the documents pertaining to their international flight should also be checked.
The instructions would come into effect at 6:AM on Friday at all the domestic airports, the release said.
