Stocks rally at open, Dominage stocks fly high

Dhaka stocks have rallied at open in line with the previous two sessions’ gaining.
In the first 30 minutes of the trade on Thursday, the benchmark index DSEX rose around 10 points or 0.19 percent to 4,944 on the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE).
Among other indices, the DSES Index was up by nearly 3 points or 0.25 percent to 1,129 and blue-chip DS30 Index also witnessed a rise of 5 points or 0.3 percent to 1,710.
Out of issues traded as of 10:30am, 135 closed higher, 574 declined and 90 remained unchanged.
Share prices of Dominage Steel Building Systems that made its debut on Wednesday skyrocketed as it rose to Tk 22.5 at open from previous session’s close of Tk 15.2 a share. No sellers were seen on the trading floor while buyers in thousands were waiting on the other side.
