Express Insurance declares 7% cash dividend

Express Insurance Limited has declared a 7 percent cash dividend, including 5 percent interim cash dividend, to its shareholders for the year ended on December 31, 2020.

The dividend payout was recommended at the company's board of directors meeting, said the company in a filing with the Dhaka Stock Exchange on Sunday.

The interim dividend has already been paid, it said.

The Annual General Meeting is scheduled for December 9 on the digital platform, The record date for the distribution of the declared dividend among the shareholders is October 7.

The company has also reported EPS of Tk 1.64, up from Tk 0.97 (restated) seen in the same period of the previous year.
