Mercantile Bank’s Q1 earnings up over 16%

Mercantile Bank Ltd’s first quarter earnings (January-March) of this year increased by over 16 percent amid the pandemic.
In a filing with Dhaka Stock Exchange on Sunday, the company reported earnings per share (EPS) of Tk0.64, up 16.36 percent from Tk0.55 a year earlier.
The company also said that the consolidated net operating cash flow per share (NOCFPS) was Tk4.92 for the Q1 of 2021 as against Tk1.48 for the Q1 of 2020.
Meanwhile, consolidated net asset value (NAV) per share was Tk23.21 as of March 31, 2021, and Tk24.23 as of March 31, 2020.
