The Bangla Academy has announced the names of seven Literary Award winners of 2021.
The academy announced the names of the awardees on Sunday.
The awards will be officially presented at the 44th annual meeting of the general assembly of the Bangla Academy on December 24.
The winners are former governor the Bangladesh Bank Dr Atiur Rahman, Inam Al Haque, Prof Sirajul Islam, Sukumar Barua, Ferdousi Majumdar, Dr Tosikul Islam Raja, and Shoumitra Chakrabarty.
The Bangla Academy Literary Award is annually awarded to individuals for their contributions to the Bangla literature in various categories.
