Mim’s husband Sony tests positive for Covid-19

Popular actress Bidiya Sinha Saha Mim’s husband Sony Poddar has tested positive for Covid-19.

It is assumed that a large gathering at the wedding ceremony held last week caused the infection, Mim said while talking to the media on Tuesday.

A number of her relatives including father-in-law tested positive for Covid-19.

However, she along with her mother and sister got negative for the virus, Mim said.

The infected are not having any serious problems. Sony has a mild fever and cough, but his father is having a problem with his throat. For now, both of them are resting at home.

The couple were scheduled to go to Maldives for their honeymoon on Tuesday night, but they had to cancel the plan.

When asked about their honeymoon, Mim said, “If all goes well, the honeymoon will be in February. If there is no lockdown and the incidence of corona decreases then we will go to Maldives then.”

Mim and Sony tied the knot at a five-star hotel in the capital on January 4.
