Finally, Ranbir weds Alia

Bollywood stars Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor tied the knot in Mumbai on Thursday after spending around five years in relationship.

They invited guests include Bollywood film fraternity like Karan Johar, Ayan Mukerji, Saif Ali Khan, Kareena Kapoor and Karishma Kapoor, among others, according to The Hindu.

Soon after the event, the couple posted their pictures on Instagram.

Alia wrote on Instagram: “Today, surrounded by our family and friends, at home … in our favourite spot - the balcony we’ve spent the last 5 years of our relationship - we got married.”

She added, “With so much already behind us, we can’t wait to build more memories together … memories that are full of love, laughter, comfortable silences, movie nights, silly fights, wine delights and Chinese bites.”

“Thank you for all the love and light during this very momentous time in our lives. It has made this moment all the more special,” the Gangubai Kathiawadi star wrote.

Both the stars will be seen next in director Ayan Mukeriji’s fantasy-drama film Brahmastra, during the making of which their relationship began.
