Although, there is beauty in every country we have to pick a winner. The most wins are actually a tie between two countries: India and Venezuela. In the second position is the United Kingdom. And lastly, at the #3 position are five countries: South Africa, United States, Iceland, Jamaica and Sweden.

India

India has six winners. They won in the years: 1966, 1994, 1997, 1999, 2000, 2017. Reita Faria won in 1966, Aishwarya Rai in 1994, Diana Hayden in 1997, Yukta Mookhey in 1999, Priyanka Chopra in 2000, and Manushi Chhillar in 2017.

Venezula

Venezula is tied with India at the #1 position. They had six winners so far. They won in the years: 1955, 1981, 1984, 1991, 1995, 2011. Susana Duijm won in 1955, Pilín León in 1981, Astrid Carolina in 1984, Ninibeth Leal in 1991, Jacqueline Aguilera in 1995, and Ivian Sarcos in 2011.

United Kingdom

Coming in at the #2 position is United Kingdom with five winners. They won in the years: 1961, 1964, 1965, 1974, 1983. There hasn’t been any winners from United Kingdom since the 1980s. Rosemarie Frankland won in 1961, Ann Sidney in 1964, Lesley Langley in 1965, Helen Morgan in 1974, and Sarah-Jane Hutt in 1983.

South Africa

South Africa has three winners in the years: 1958, 1974, 2014. Penelope Anne Coelen won in 1958. After, Helen Morgan’s resignation Anneline Kriel of South Africa was crowned the new Miss World. Rolene Strauss won in 2014.

United States

Unites States won three times in the years: 1973, 1990, 2010. The crown won by Marjorie Wallace in 1973. The winner was Gina Tolleson in 1990. Kaiane Aldorino of Gibraltar crowned her successor Alexandria Mills in 2010.

Iceland

The three winners from Iceland were in the years: 1985, 1988, 2005. Hólmfríður Karlsdóttir won the crown in 1985. The winner was Linda Pétursdóttir in 1988. Unnur Birna Vilhjálmsdóttir got the coveted title in 2005.

Jamaica

Jamaice received the title three times in the years: 1963, 1976, 1993. Carole Crawford won in 1963, Cindy Breakspeare in 1976, and Lisa Hanna in 1993.

Sweden

The three winners of Sweden were in the years: 1951, 1952, 1977. Kiki Håkansson won in 1951, May-Louise Flodin in 1952, and Mary Ann-Catrin Stävin in 1977. When Kiki Håkansson of Sweden crowned her successor May-Louise Flodin of Sweden, it was the first back to back victories in Miss World.
