icddr,b looking for 3 data management officers

Bangladesh-based international research institute icddr,b is looking for suitable candidates for the position of Data Management Officer with the Maternal, Newborn and Child Health under the Maternal and Child Health Division.

The organisation published a circular in this regard in the career page of its website. 

The initial appointment will be made on a short-term basis for eight months, which is renewable depending on the performance and availability of funds. 

The minimum academic qualification required for the position is Masters in Statistics/Applied Statistics/Biostatistics/Mathematics/Social Science/Management Information System (MIS) or Bachelor degree in Computer Science with good academic records.

However, Educational qualification may be relaxed to Bachelor degree if the candidate has a vast experience in developing software in the Android platform and excellent knowledge and experience in Data Management Work.

A minimum of 3-years experience in data management domain is also required. 

The responsibilities of Data Management Officer includes — data management, editing and reporting; data security and backup and providing support services such as train the field staffs on the usage of software and smartphones, collect feedback from users on an existing programme for any changes required etc. 

The duty station for the position will be in Chandpur and the consolidated salary per month including house and conveyance allowances is expected to be Tk 49,763.
