High commission of Canada hiring Political Advisor

The High Commission of Canada is looking for a political advisor for Rohingya refugee crisis for its foreign policy and diplomacy section.
The minimum educational requirement for the position is a Bachelor's degree from a government recognised university.
The candidates should have at least five years of working experience as a political and or governance officer in a government body, research organisation, think tank, diplomatic mission or international organisation.
The position also requires experience in conducting research and analysis, drafting reports, briefing materials and providing advice to management.
Moreover, experience in organising events such as panel discussions and conferences in-person and virtually (online), building and maintaining a network of contacts will be an advantage.
Candidates should also be experienced in preparing correspondence as well as communications materials such as speeches, talking points, press releases and content for social media.
Applicants should have extensive knowledge of the political, human rights and security affairs of Bangladesh and a good understanding of the political, social, economic and international relations aspects of the Rohingya crisis, also a good grasp of its local, national and regional repercussions and policy implications.
The job location is the High Commission of Canada to Dhaka, Bangladesh, and the job type is anticipatory — 1 year with possible extension to a permanent position.
