BRAC, the largest non-governmental organisation in the world is looking for a Deputy Manager for its Learning Center Operations.

Job Description/Responsibilities:
-
Oversee the overall operational activities through regular field visits and provide necessary support for further improvement in BRAC Learning Center (BLC) service.

Achieving operational excellence by providing operational support from Head Office (HO) to BLCs.

Assist in developing and executing operational strategy and plan.

Preparing yearly procurement budget and plan for BLCs.

Preparing yearly construction /renovation budget and plan for,
-
Forecasting HR needs and recruiting BLC staffs.
-
Organising TNAs and preparing staff development plan for BLCs.
-
Maintaining relation between BLC Operations Team and other BRAC Programs in order to run BLC Operations as necessary.

Facilitate day to day approvals i.e, leave / procurement / construction/ accommodation from HO to BLCs.

Coordinate among all the BLCs and prepare monthly reports and other required reports as requested by the Programme Head / Coordinator or Director.

Preparing and arranging yearly and quarterly OMs meeting.

Act as a Safeguarding Focal for implementing and creating awareness on BRAC Safeguarding policy.

Support in implementing promotional work as per requirement and develop strategies and interventions to contribute towards better service of BLCs.

Monthly data analysis and preparing BLCs MIS report.
Safeguarding Responsibilities:
-
Establish a safeguarding culture across all level of the programme by implementing the safeguarding policy.

Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
-
Responsible to ensure team members are appropriately trained, supported and have access to resources regarding issues that are identified and actioned in accordance with the safeguarding policy and procedure.

Supervise, follow- up and oversee the overall sales and marketing activities of designated projects through regular field visits and provide necessary support for further improvement.

Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
Educational Requirements:
Bachelors/Masters in Business Administration/Public Administration/Marketing/Tourism & Hospitality Management from any recognised university with minimum 2nd division/class or equivalent GPA/CGPA in all academic examinations.
Experience Requirement:
Minimum 2-3 years’ of relevant work experience in any reputed commercial/ development organisation.
Additional Requirements:

Understanding of NGO sector and economic and social context of the country.

Firm knowledge on project management and incentive mechanisms.

Strong networking and communication skills.
-
Well versed in corporate communications and dealing with Government officials, marketers, public affairs and/or in other related fields.

Must have excellent writing skills in both English and Bangla.
-
Must have excellent negotiation and presentation skills.
-
Should be able to supervise and manage team.
-
Should possess ability to think critically and analytically.

Proficiency in MS Office Suite (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)
