Doreen Power declares 25% dividend

Doreen Power Generations and Systems Limited has recommended a 13 percent cash and a 12 percent stock dividend for its shareholders for the year ended on June 30, 2021.

However, entrepreneurs and directors will get only 12 percent bonus shares.

The dividend payout was recommended at the company's board of directors meeting held recently.

Final approval, however, regarding the dividends will come from the Annual General Meeting (AGM) scheduled for December 5, 2021, the company said in a filing with the Dhaka Stock Exchange on Tuesday.

The company has reported EPS of Tk 8.09 and consolidated NAV per share of Tk 48.41 during the period.

The record date for the distribution of the declared dividend among the shareholders has been fixed at November 9.

Last year, the company earned Tk 5.53 per share and paid a 20 percent dividend to ordinary investors.
