Purabi General Insurance earnings decrease 17% in Q2

Purabi General Insurance company has posted about a 17 percent decrease in its earnings in the second quarter ended June 2021 as against the same quarter last year.
Its earnings per share stood at Tk 0.35 in Q2 from Tk 0.42 recorded in the same period a year earlier, said the insurer in a filing with the Dhaka Stock Exchange on Sunday.
As of June 30, 2021, the company’s net asset value per share stood at Tk 14.06 against Tk 13.56 as on June 30, 2020.
