Bangladesh Pratidin turns 12

Bangladesh Pratidin, a Bengali language daily, has turned 12.
The occasion was observed by cutting cakes on Saturday and organising special programmes at International Convention City Bashundhara on Sunday.
Bashundhara Group Managing Director Sayem Sobhan cut the anniversary cake in Bangladesh Pratidin premises on Sunday.
Besides the regular celebration, the newspaper will also honour 19 prominent people for their contribution to different sectors.
Bangladesh Pratidin Editor Naem Nizam along with the team attended the programme.
Among others, Information State Minister Dr Murad Hasan, Shipping State Minister Khalid Nahnud Chowdhury, Water Resources’ Deputy Minister AKM Enamul Huq Shamim also attended the programme.
