Bangladesh Embassy in Hanoi, Vietnam observed National Mourning Day of Bangladesh and the 46th martyrdom anniversary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman on Sunday.
To pay tribute, the national flag of Bangladesh was hoisted and lowered down to half-mast, said a press release.
The Bangladesh embassy distributed food bags donation to the people in need during covid situation in Hanoi.
These were handed over by Bangladesh Ambassador to Vietnam Samina Naz to Fatherland Front of Vietnam Tay Ho District Chairman Tran Quang Dao.
Due to covid pandemic lockdown in Vietnam and government restrictions on public gathering the programme was observed 'In-house' with the presence of few guests and embassy officials.
