Logo for ‘Made in Bangladesh’ campaign unveiled

In order to promote our products globally, the government launched the logo of “Made in Bangladesh” campaign was launched on Thursday.
Under the initiative of the Ministry of Commerce, Bangladesh Foreign Trade Institute (BFTI), in association with Spellbound Leo Burnett (local representative of CNNIC) organized an Inception and Networking Session of “Made in Bangladesh” Campaign at Westin Dhaka, said a press release.
The campaign will the commendable growth and development of Bangladesh under the visionary leadership of the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina as well as the success stories of the pioneering private sectors of the country to the world, said a press release.
The objective of the partnership is to shine a spotlight on Bangladesh’s phenomenal business and growth story to audiences across the world.
The cross-platform campaign encompasses the power of CNN’s storytelling, branded content produced by CNN’s award-winning brand studio Create, along with global audience reach to showcase the Bangladesh’s journey of economic growth.
The story of pioneering sectors and industries will represent the pride and progress of Bangladesh.
Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA), Bangladesh Association of Pharmaceutical Industries, Walton Group, bKash Limited, Meghna Group of Industries, BEXIMCO and City Group are the leading business houses who will promote the indomitable journey of their respective industries and the story of Bangladesh.
In that event, the logo for the campaign was launched by the Chief Guest Tipu Munshi, Minister, Ministry of Commerce.
Tapan Kanti Ghosh, Secretary, Ministry of Commerce was the Special Guest of the event and the session was chaired by Dr Md Jafar Uddin, Chief Executive Officer, BFTI.
In his remarks the Hon’ble Commerce Minister said, “In order to sustain the export growth and expand our economy, it is an immediate need to brand our products in global platform. This campaign will brand our potential sectors and products in a promising manner to the world, create opportunities for business and global collaborations and eventually help our country grow even further.”
Tapan Kanti Ghosh, Commerce Secretary in his speech, hoped that this campaign will take the business growth of Bangladesh to the next level.
Md Obaidul Azam, Director, BFTI delivered the welcome speech at the event and Abhijeet Dhar, Director - Sales, CNN International Commercial and Md Sadequl Arefeen, Managing Director Spellbound Leo Burnett delivered presentation.
