Md Al Amin appointed hotel manager of The Westin Dhaka

Marriott International has recently appointed Md. Al Amin as hotel manager of The Westin Dhaka and cluster in-charge of Sales and Marketing of The Westin Dhaka and upcoming Sheraton Dhaka.
He is the youngest and the first to be appointed in this multi-position role by Marriott International in Bangladesh, read a press release.
He has over 14 years of professional experience with over 10 years of experience in renowned international hotel chains such as Marriott International, Starwood Hotels & Resorts and Pan Pacific Hotels Group. He is a veteran in the Hospitality & Tourism industry and is well known for his leadership, innovation, track-record and charisma. With his vast experience, leadership skills and vision he has contributed immensely to the development of the Hospitality & Tourism industry of Bangladesh.
Before joining The Westin Dhaka, he led Six Seasons Hotel successfully as their general manager for over 2 years and won many accolades for the property. Previously, he was appointed as the director of Sales & Marketing at The Westin Dhaka. Outside the industry, he worked for Tai Ping Carpets Pvt. Ltd (Carpet International Thailand) in a senior leadership role and started his career with Grameenphone. Md. Al Amin completed his EMBA from American International University Bangladesh, BBA from Independent University Bangladesh, Management Development Program from IBA, Dhaka University and attended many trainings home and abroad.
