ICSB elects council members

The Institute of Chartered Secretaries of Bangladesh (ICSB) has elected 13 council members for the term of 2022-25.

The election was held under the provision of the Chartered Secretaries Act, 2010 at Sheraton Dhaka hotel in Dhaka’s Banani on Saturday, said a news release on Sunday.

Some 441 members cast their votes in the elections where 30 members contested for the 13 posts.

Mohammad Asad Ullah secured the highest 330 votes. The others members who were elected are Mohammad Abdullah Al Mamun, Oli Kamal, M Nurul Alam, AKM Mushfiqur Rahman, Mohammad Shafiqul Islam Bhuiyan, Md Sharif Hasan, Mohammad Sanaullah, Abul Fazal Mohamed Rubayat, Salim Ahmed, Mohammed Harun-Ar-Rashid, M Naseemul Hye and Md Azizur Rahman.
