Azam J Chowdhury’s mother dies

Bakhtunnessa Chowdhury, mother of Azam J Chowdhury, renowned industrialist and former chairman of Prime Bank Limited, and grandmother of Tanjil Chowdhury, chairman of Prime Bank Limited, passed away Tuesday night in Square Hospital.

Her janaza was held at Hosenpur Shahi Eidgah, Kadipur Union, Kulaura on Wednesday.

Prime Bank in a press release expressed its deep shock. “We pray to the Almighty for the salvation of the departed soul and convey our deepest condolences to the bereaved family,” it said.
