Sitakunda blaze yet to be tamed

The fire that broke out at an inland container depot on Saturday night following an explosion at Sitakunda in Chattogram is yet to be controlled.
Firefighters and Bangladesh Army are trying to bring the fire under control and prevent the spread of the blaze.
However, the army is hopeful to control the fire by 10pm on Sunday.
Major Joynal Abedin, GOC of 24th infantry in Chattogram, shared the information to reporters on Sunday evening.
He said, “The army members will continue working with the firefighters to control the fire until it comes under control.”
The death toll from the devastating fire climbed to 49.
