New Zealand Captain Kane Williamson ended the year 2020 as the world’s no 1 Test batsman on the ICC rankings after his Man of the Match performance against Pakistan in the Boxing Day Test.
Williamson was on the third position in the previous update with India Captain Virat Kohli and Australia’s Steven Smith on top. He moved two spots up, going past both of them.

In the latest ranking, Virat Kohli ended up in the second position and Steven Smith in the third position.
Meanwhile, Australia’s Vice-Captain Pat Cummins ended the year as the no 1 Test bowler. The ranking for Test all-rounder remained unchanged with Ben Stokes on top, followed by Jason Holder, Ravindra Jadeja, Shakib Al Hasan and Mitchell Starc.
