FC Barcelona beat Ferencvaros by 5-1 with Lionel Messi becoming the first player to score in 16 consecutive Champions League seasons.
Messi netted from the penalty spot to give Barca the lead and his 116th career goal in the competition before Ansu Fati added a second.
With his one goal, Messi now scored against 36 different teams of the Champions League. The third record he broke is that he has now scored 69 goals in the Champions League group stage, which is more than any other player.
Philippe Coutinho secured another goal early in the second half. But Barca defender Gerard Pique was dismissed for impeding Tokmac Nguen, which led to a penalty.
Any thoughts of a dramatic comeback from Hungarian side Ferencvaros were smashed after 17-year-old Pedri netted his first Barca goal. Ousmane Dembele added the fifth goal later on the match.
