Mustafizur Rahman was bought by Delhi Capitals for INR 2 crore during the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 auction currently ongoing on Saturday. No one gave hard time to Delhi to get the Bangladeshi seamer.
Mustafizur's name came up in the fourth round of the auction. Delhi Capitals made the opening bid for him, who was listed at the highest base price of INR 2 crore and bought him with that asking price.
So far he has played 38 matches in the tournament and claimed 38 wickets. The pacer was one of the Sunrisers Hyderabad's most important players. He helped the Sunrisers to clinch the first IPL title. He played for Rajasthan Royals and Mumbai Indians as well.
Meanwhile, Ishan Kishan is the most expensive buy so far this auction as Mumbai India broke the bank and secure him for INR 15.25 crore.
The IPL 2022 Auction has resumed with Charu Sharma taking over the duties for the day from an unwell Hugh Edmeades collapsed mid-event earlier today. And it didn't take a long time for the teams to battle hard.
