Barcelona president Joan Laporta has promised coach Xavi Hernandez that next season he will bring a top striker to the Camp Nou. According to AS, the Spanish giants will turn their attention to Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah if Erling Haaland falls out of reach this summer.
It’s not going to be easy to bag Haaland as heavyweights like Real Madrid, Manchester City are in the race.
Meanwhile, it is learnt that the Borussia Dortmund striker wants to move to Camp Nou this summer.
Finances are proving to be a problem for the Blaugrana at present, but a prolific Norwegian striker has made it clear that Barcelona would be his first choice.
