After deciding to bat first, Bangladesh could not make a positive start as they lost their three batters inside the six overs against Afghanistan at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium on Tuesday.

Tiger opener Mohammad Naim walked off after scoring just six runs. The ball went through that gap between bat and pad and crashed onto the stumps. Mujeeb Ur Rahman was the wicket-taker.

Post that, Mujeeb struck again in his second over to get rid of Anamul Haque Bijoy who went for a paddle sweep and got struck on the back leg. The ball crashed onto the leg stump as shown by Hawkeye. It was the 200th wicket for the seamer in the T20 format.

Later the Afghan pacer removed Bangladesh skipper Shakib Al Hasan who was playing his 100th T20I match. He went for 11 runs.

Mujib came in with the angle from round the wicket, Shakib cleared his legs and went for a blind swing and the ball made a mockery of his stumps.

Afterward, veteran spinner Rashid Khan joined the party as he dismissed Mushfiqur Rahim. A supper googly from Rashid trapped the Bangladeshi batter who made just a single run.

Afif Hossain and Mahmudullah Riyad were in the middle. After the end of eight overs, the Tigers were 35 for four.
