Pakistan skipper Babar Azam won the toss and decided to bowl first against Sri Lnka in the final of the Asia Cup at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Sunday.
Interestingly, both teams lost their opening matches. The men in green tested defeat against their arch-rivals India while the Lankans were crushed by Afghanistan. However, they came back strongly and booked their spots in the final of this continental event.
Though Pakistan lost their last match against Sri Lanka, their victory against India in the Super Four stage will surely boost their confidence to lift the title after 2012.
On the other hand, Sri Lanka are in good mode as they defeated Pakistan comfortably in the last match of the Super Four round and before that, they emerged victorious when they took on India.
