Boonma wins Bangabandhu Cup Golf Bangladesh Open

Thailand’s Danthai Boonma lifted the trophy of the Bangabandhu Cup Golf Bangladesh Open at the Kurmitola Golf Club on Sunday. National Bank Limited was the sponsor of the tournament.

“I’m so excited about my second win on the Asian Tour. I didn’t really play very good you know. I mean, I struggled with my mind and my short game, so I tried to figure out about those things. And yeah, I can’t believe it about this week,” said Danthai.

Meanwhile, Kosuke Hamamoto and Ratan Onnasichan claimed the second and third positions respectively while local favourite Siddikur Rahman had to stay happy in the fourth spot.

“My hitting was totally off, so I’m not happy with my hitting…I made a few ups and downs which was very good. But overall, I still played one under so it’s okay, but my especially my hitting was totally off today and yesterday,” said Siddik.
