The match between Kolkata Knight Riders and Sunrisers Hyderabad last night was so intense that it ended by being a tie.
With both of the team scoring 163 in 20 overs, the only way to get a winner of the match was Super-Over, and that’s where New Zealander Lockie Ferguson revealed his ultimate spell.
Within only three balls, Ferguson first removed the off stump of David Warner and sent him back to the pavilion with a golden duck. Then on the third ball, hit Abdul Samad’s middle stamp with a full and slower delivery.
Only two runs were allowed in between. A single from Eoin Morgan and two leg-byes off Dinesh Karthik’s pads.
The player of the match Ferguson also played a major roll in suppressing Sunrisers Hyderabad’s chase of 164 with a spectacular spell of 4-0-3-15, not allowing a single boundary.
