UEFA Euro cup 2020 is down to the knockout stage, with the 24 qualifiers now 16 as they are whittled down to the side that lifts the trophy on 11 July.
On the last day of group stage actions, Portugal, Germany and Spain booked their spot for the knockout phases. While Portugal qualified as one of the best third-placed teams following the last match fought 2-2 against France.
Although, France is already in the 16’s with the title of the group champion.
On the other hand, Germany also confirmed their place in the last 16 after make 2-2 draw over Hungary. And the group ‘E’ champion Spain thrashed Slovakia by 5-0 in their last match encounters.
Also Italy, Belgium, Sweden, Denmark, Czech Republic, Austria, Netherland, England, Ukraine, Switzerland, Croatia and Wales have already spotted their place into last 16.
The knockout stage will kick off on Saturday (June 26) with a clash between Wales and Denmark in Amsterdam. Italy and Austria will battle it out three hours later at Wembley.
And June 27 will see the Netherlands take on the Czech Republic and Belgium meet Portugal. Croatia vs Spain and France vs Switzerland will take place on Monday, while England-Germany and Sweden-Ukraine will follow suit a day later.
