Dhaka secures a 25-run win against Rajshahi

Minister Group Rajshahi failed to chase the big target of 176 runs set by Beximco Dhaka in the 12th match of Bangabandhu T20 Cup. 

Meanwhile, Dhaka kept their hope for the playoffs by securing the second win in five matches they played. 

Batting first, the team fell in big trouble after losing four of its valuable wickets, including the captain Mushfiqur Rahim, for 64 runs. 

Then came the player of the match Yasir Ali. He alone scored 67 by playing only 39 balls. Getting full support from his partner Akbar Ali, who remained not out on 45 when Dhaka’s innings ended. 

Chasing the target, Rajshahi lost its first three wickets early in only 15 runs. While the 67 runs partnership between Rony Talukdar and Fazle Mahmud got hopes of the fans high, their departure on 40 and 57 respectively made it really easy for Dhaka to win the match. 

In the end, Rajshahi was all out for 150 and lost three matches among the five they played so far in the tournament.
