Samsung might be working on a 600MP camera sensor

South Korean tech giant Samsung might be working on creating a 600-megapixel camera sensor, according to a tweet by IceUniverse. 

IceUniverse uploaded an image with the post which is said to be a slide from a presentation or a part of some company document.

Samsung is working for the development of a bigger camera sensor to allow its users to capture broadcast-quality video in 4k and 8k resolution, thus improving video quality even if digitally zoomed. 

Recently, the tech giant showed the world what could be done in the camera department with their flagship smartphone Samsung S20+ and S20 Ultra by adding 108-megapixel main cameras with the phones.

But there is obviously an issue that pops up, quite literally, when it comes to making the camera better. Better camera means bigger camera sensors, and a bigger camera bump on the back of the smartphone. 

It is now a matter of time to see how Samsung manages to put a camera sensor bigger than what it currently has in its next flagships while maintaining a decent form factor.
