The open-source learning management system (LMS) Moodle welcomes the Brain Station 23, a globally known software development company based in Bangladesh, as the latest certified partner to join the Moodle partner network.

“We are thrilled to welcome Brain Station 23 as the first Certified Moodle Partner based in Bangladesh, the 8th most populous country in the world,” said Fiona Ong, Channel Manager of Moodle for the Asia-Pacific region, says a news release.

“With Brain Station’s local presence and track record of delivering top notch services, we will finally be able to promote Moodle offerings, offer unique expertise and provide quality customer support to this fast growing nation of Moodle users and educators,” added Fiona.

Moodle is a learning platform designed to provide educators, administrators and learners with a single robust, secure and integrated system to create personalised learning environments.

MJ Ferdous, chief operating officer (COO) of the Brain Station 23, said, “Moodle has enabled us to build innovative LMS platforms for our clients, just as they had imagined. We firmly believe in Moodle as it facilitates training and development of more than 300 professionals from our own company.”

“Becoming a Certified Moodle Partner will strengthen our portfolio, and by joining the Moodle Partner Network we can deliver LMS services to people in Bangladesh and around the globe, offering Moodle as the premier LMS solution to our discerning customers,” he added.

Recognising the shift to digital platforms in the pandemic, the COO of the Brain Station 23 said, “The Covid-19 pandemic is changing the business landscape as we know it, leading to a rise in the use of digital media.”

“It is now apparent that digital platforms are essential to ensure education and training continue for educational institutions and business organisations.”

Dr Matthias Hansch, the Brain Station’s partner in Germany, said, “We consider Brain Station 23 to be one of the top global IT outsourcing leaders from Bangladesh and this new partnership with Moodle has opened up a level playing field for Brain Station to enable enterprises with Moodle solutions across the globe.”

The Brain Station 23 Limited is one of the top software development companies in Bangladesh, providing global IT services with custom web and mobile application development, solutions for industry 4.0 with advance technologies (i.e. AI/ML, AR/VR, BI, Cloud Computing, etc).

The company has been providing state-of-the-art software and IT solutions to fintech, telco, e-commerce, pharmaceutical, manufacturing and retail industries – both globally and locally – since 2006.

The organisation has been active in over 20 countries including Germany, Japan, USA, Norway, Canada, Australia, Netherlands, South Africa and Nigeria, and has successfully delivered over 1,000 projects.

Notable projects by the Brain Station 23 include the development of an LMS platform for Pondit, a training institute for professionals.

Brain Station 23 also developed a Moodle powered LMS platform for The Institute of Business Administration (IBA) at Dhaka University. Integrating a Zoom plug-in to the solution, the university was able to transition to an online teaching platform, enabling their students to carry out their education via online classrooms.

CrueSpace, an NGO helping its users to learn Adobe programs, now has an integrated LMS thanks to Brain Station 23.

It allows for live classes and the ability to join remote workspaces, all in one platform, to help them learn and improve skills, the release adds.
