Digital World 2020 expo to kick off Dec 9

Dhaka (Nov 29, 2020): The three-day Digital World 2020 expo will begin on December 9 in a virtual format for the first time due to the outbreak of the coronavirus across the world.

President Abdul Hamid will inaugurate the expo which is jointly organised by ICT Division of the government, Bangladesh Computer Council and Bangladesh Association of Software and Information Services.

Minister’s ICT advisor Sajib Ahmed Wazed will present a keynote, Embracing Digital Technology in the New Normal, at the ministerial webinar on December 11.

WHO National Advisory Panel Member on mental health Saima Wazed will also present a paper on 11 December on this occasion.

have achieved a lot in last one decade in the digital technology sector. This expo will showcase the achievement,’ said ICT state-minister Zunaed Ahmed Palak while addressing a press conference at BCC auditorium on Sunday.

BASIS President Syed Almas Kabir said the Digital World 2020 expo will explore scope for the upcoming avenue in the technology field and take forward the government’s vision to a digital Bangladesh.

Bangladesh Computer Council Executive Director Parthapratim Deb and a2i Project Director were also present at the programme.
