FBCCI President meets new Home Adviser to interim government

Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI) President Mahbubul Alam has paid a courtesy call on newly appointed Home Affairs Adviser to the interim government Lt. Gen. (Retd.) Jahangir Alam Chowdhury.

The meeting was held on Saturday at the adviser's residence in the capital's Baridhara area, reports BSS.

During the meeting, the FBCCI President discussed with the adviser various economic activities including the country's trade and business, keeping the supply chain stable, ensuring safety in industrial hubs, stopping extortion on roads and highways, and sought his cooperation, said a press release today.

The adviser assured of providing safety to all the citizens as well as the business community of the country as his assigned responsibility.

An official meeting of the business representatives with the Adviser will be held soon, FBCCI President informed.
