BEZA inks land lease agreement with Sim Fabrics Ltd

Bangladesh Economic Zones Authority (BEZA) has inked a land lease agreement with Sim Fabrics Limited. .

Under the agreement, BEZA has allocated five acres of land for the company at the Jamalpur Economic Zone (JEZ), said a press release on Wednesday, reports BSS.

In presence of BEZA Executive Chairman Dr Md Sarwar Bari, BEZA Executive Member (Investment Development) Md Mozibor Rahman and Managing Director of the Sim Fabrics Limited Md Mozaffar Hossain today signed the agreement on behalf of their respective sides at the BEZA conference room in the city, the release said.

Congratulating the investor, Dr Md Sarwar Bari said that the company is well-known in its respective sector and is developing business with reputation in the country and international arena.

Therefore, linking up such investors with BEZA will lead to increased investment in the economic zone as well as diversification of products, he added.

Sim Fabrics Limited will establish a denim manufacturing plant at Jamalpur Economic Zone with an investment of US$17 million. This factory will employ 250 people.
