Rarely, we think of the royal families on the planet. Let's know little bit interesting about the wealthiest families.
House of Saud
Currently, the richest royal family in the world is the House of Saud. Their net worth is estimated to be more than $1.4 trillion (£1.1tn). The family has 15,000 members.
King Salman is thought to be the richest individual family member with an $18 billion (£12.9bn) fortune.
Prince Alwaleed bin Talal is the second wealthiest individual member of the family, with an estimated net worth of $13.4 billion (£9.6bn). Bloomberg Billionaires Index says his wealth is $17.1 billion (£12.2bn).
Kuwait’s Royal Family
Kuwait’s royal family comprising more than 1,000 members is thought to have around $360 billion (£280bn) net worth.
House of Thani
The House of Thani has thousands of family members, possibly around 7,000 or 8,000 in number. It is believed that the Qatar royal family owns around $335 billion (£253bn) wealth.
House of Nahyan
The House of Nahyan, comprising 200 male members and an unknown number of females, has a wealth of around $150 billion (£116.6bn).
The British royal family
The British royal family is estimated to have around $88 billion (£69bn) net worth, according to the Forbes magazine estimation in 2017.
Queen Elizabeth II has the highest personal net worth of £350 million ($428.3m), according to the Sunday Times Rich List 2020.
