Indian High Commission in Dhaka celebrates 75th Independence Day

The Indian High Commission to Bangladesh celebrated the 75th Independence Day of India on Sunday.
It organised a programme at its office in the Capital’s Baridhara area to mark the day. Indian expats residing in Dhaka took part in the event, said a press release.
Indian High Commissioner Vikram Doraiswami inaugurated the programme by hoisting the Indian flag in the morning.
Indian President Ram Nath Kovind issued a message marking the day.
The High Commission in Dhaka celebrates the day with a limited arrangement every year as the day also marks National Mourning Day of Bangladesh.
